Queensland's achievements

Queensland has a workforce of over 6,800 employees in the fibre composites industry, working within one of several hundred businesses across the state.

The Queensland Government has invested over $10 million to support the growth of this industry.

The Centre of Excellence for Engineered Fibre Composites at the University of Southern Queensland in Toowoomba was also the recipient of $7.4 million in funding. This centre is recognised as a key research facility in Australia.
